1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

    I quit.

I hired in as a regional driver, so it was a no brainer when they eliminated the regional job and announced I was OTR.

Too many jobs where I live to put up with that BS.

I was taking Doctor prescribed Company approved (when I got hired) med. Chantix.. midway through program I was talking to Safety guy with stage 3 emphysema (jealous I guess)sent me to Clinic and quack said I was decertified..although FMCSA rule (that they showed me)says not to certify new drivers nothing about decertifying and no to tell if I quit or not (only the honor system), requested short leave of absence but denied,a week later Fedex delivered my termination notice (first ever), oddly enough though a couple weeks later they laid off a bunch of drivers. Two good things happened out of it though after smoking for 35 yrs I'm still smoke free (but still unemployed) after almost a yr. and am divorcing that nasty witch I was married to!! Any thoughts of next job move is appreciated, in St.Louis with one million miles no tickets/accidents, Good Luck (any leads pm me thanks)
