The real reason why they speed up, is that the 2018+ freight shakers likely have adaptive cruise with those stupid dt-12 automatics. When going over even the smallest of hills the truck will let off the throttle just enough for maximum fuel economy. You were probably coming up when the truck let off and then the truck slowly gets back up to 65 right when you pass. Even the manuals are programmed to do this with cruise on, but it’s not as dramatic as the autos. F$?k those autos. Long live the manual!
