    That sucks man..
Why no start? Sounds like you took all possible preventive measures to make sure it would start..

The old Anteater! I'm actually kind of a fan. See some pretty slick ones rolling around every now & then. Looks funny out the windshield, can't see the hood at all.

But now I also want to know all about it. I know you say it's a pile, but send out some pics, & specs. Inquiring minds want to know!! LoL :)

It’s a 2005 I think with a cat and 13 spd. 1.3m miles. I’ve got about 8k lbs on the deck and it won’t hold 70 mph on a hill......

it’s about 0 deg and the bunk heater don’t work. They put some “extra wide” seats in it and I almost can’t get in the bunk. Lol

it ain’t good but it’s just good enough.

No, I never have. It's been on the list to test for quite a while, but hasn't happened yet.

If you run it, I'm curious what you think of it. I have a couple of spools of UltraCore 71A85 for occaisonal use, but I'm running ER70S-6, .035 with 92/8, for almost everything. brand usually depends on who has the best price for a pallet. I use ER70S-6, .045 on the robot. I have tried to use the ER70S-6, .045 for production stuff, to take advantage of deposition rates, but the guys I have using it only know how to run their machines full throttle, and if you don't fine tune, your weld spatter gets to be a nightmare, and it wasn't worth it.

My biggest question on metalcore wires, is how good it does on 12ga fillets... filling a gap! I've heard its not so good.

I'm planning on buying a miller deltaweld 452 this week. I've got a good friend who ran one for several years in a production shop. We were visiting about the machine and settings last night, and he told me they run this wire at his current employer now. He said it's really forgiving. The stickout can vary up to 1/2" and you can't tell a difference in the finished weld. It does fill a gap well and stills lays a smooth bead. He said overall it's a great wire. I've seen his welds in the past. Most days you can't tell if he welded it, or if the robot did. They repair/fabricate a lot of railroad equipment, so it's all heavy material.

If he’s headed 64W Staunton ( 64 & 81) is the largest area. Several stops. Raphine VA Petro is the best I hear. Rest of them are pilots.
