Why do these dash camera trucks never slow down until the very end and wonder why their in a bad spot. He was going 60 and the lane he in looks dry. Couldve been on break real hard and never had to swerve like that. He lucky he didnt spin out swerving on that shoulder like that

That truck was through the cables and covering the #1 lane while he was still mashing on it at 60mph.
@D.Tibbitt is right.
How do you not see that and have plenty of time to be slowed to avoid swerving?
The footage was horrible and you could still see it.
Probably Facebook"n. (total hypothesis)Flat Earth Trucker, Bud A., x1Heavy and 3 others Thank this. -
Wide angled dash cams make things appear farther than what they really are. That and I’m sure he was hesitant to hit the brakes because he wasn’t sure if there would be ice on his side of the highway too. Looks like the kind of road and weather conditions to find black ice probably why the volvo jacked.tinytim, WildTiger1990, disoba and 1 other person Thank this.

I’ve watched it a few times & you can actually see where he backs off gas & starts easing over barely. You also can’t see what’s behind him, might of had 3 white Volvo’s up his rear & didn’t want to slam on breaks. Also, that’s a total oh sh.. situation & your reactions are delayed . I wouldn’t come down hard on driver, personally I think he did good job.tinytim, autopaint, not4hire and 1 other person Thank this.

ok so with ur logic why is he going 60mph in the first place if you are hesitant of black ice. and if there is 3 volvos up his ### then that is their problem and they will be at fault in the case of an accidentFlat Earth Trucker, x1Heavy and jammer910Z Thank this. -
Yep, I actually would be more concerned with what was hooked to my truck then the trucks behind me. Might be steel beams looking at his sleeper & slamming on breaks is last thing he wants to do. I’m just saying I think he did pretty good job if you look at circumstances, if he makes rash decision to swerve hard or break hard good chance he didn’t drive through this. Might be that Volvo came on over after he passed & hit another truck, who knows.D.Tibbitt, LoneRanger, x1Heavy and 2 others Thank this.
