1997 Volvo WIA-GMO charging problems

    I have a 1997 volvo Wia with a N 14 Cummins. I Changed alternator and battery and it still drains power. I noticed it drains faster with lights on by a long shot. I know alternator is showing 14 volts of power. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this.

    I would start with the wire coming off off alternator. Make sure it’s 100%. Does it go straight to the batteries or to the starter?
    Make sure all grounds are good and pay close attention to all terminal ends. With a truck that age you may have corrosion inside the ends that’s hard to see.
