Anybody body got an idea where this leak is coming from? It looks like two leaks.
The air compressor is leaking oil from the rear bottom. Maybe the back plate. Original compressor with 1.3mil miles.
Second leak looks to be from the front cover or something that I think is the oil pump it is right under the air compressor. Are these common on the c15 acert? This leak is not touching the ground. The leak coming off the compressor is dripping to the ground.

75k on gold cat rebuild with paperwork. What's a good price for air compressor install?

I'd say yes, your comp. Is leaking from back plate. With that many miles get a reman or new. But I also think your spacerplate gasket between front cover and block is also leaking.

Have to strip the front of engine to do it. Wash it off real good and see where oil is leaking from. If you don't have access to a pressure washer. Use a couple of cans of starting fluid to clean the area and watch where it's coming from.

Sound like I will have to wait to do that front cover repair. Ill just clean it up and see where it is coming from.

Another thing to look at. Behind the comp there is a small oil line that feeds comp. It should come off back of comp and run behind it going into block. If it is original that could be your leak. Easy fix.

yeah that hose is dry. Im pretty sure its coming out that rear cover. It could just be an oring. It wasnt leaking when I got the truck a couple weeks ago. Where can i get a new compressor I can only find remans. Id rather get a new one that will last another 1.3 mil.
