Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

annnd we're off to see the wizard

They are far and few between but they do exist I work for one. It just takes alot of searching because those types of gigs usually don't advertise at least not in the normal trucking job advertisements.

Where are you in IN .. I just moved from Greencastle...and what source did you use to find your gig...I'm now at the point of desperation???Thanks

I'm just outside of Richmond a few miles. I found out through a couple friends that worked there. They do some advertising but not the truckstop mags and that stuff. All local advertising but most guys get hired through referrals from other drivers. A current driver referral is always a good thing to have when trying to get on, especially one thats known you for 20+ yrs.gonzoteamster Thanks this.
