I want to say Phoenix but I wouldn't swear to it .
They also owned a reefer fleet out of NY state and I can't remember what else but there was more .
It made a splash when they suddenly hit they skids too.
Seems to me they owned a Nebraska company too cause most of they're equipment was licensed there and a lot of the equipment wound up at taylor Martin in south souix city .
Haaaaa ! ...it just came to me they owned priority too.

I do know that Amerifreight owns that truck stop off 294 in the Chicagoland area... Every blue moon when I pass through seems like it's always empty?

That's right by where the old Dominicks grocery store warehouse used to be... That prime real estate has gotta be pretty pricey...

Wonder if that truckstop is hurting them more than helping?

I've never stopped and checked it out.

    Yeah..

Of course, the drivers with families to support that were all busting their ##### for the whopping $650.00 a week that they were being paid should all be ashamed of themselves.

Losers. Irresponsible fools and deadbeats. I hope the knaves all suffer the fate that they all wrought upon themselves..... Let them eat cake!

It’s fun to see people get their just dessert; in fact, I love to pounce on any opportunity on these forums to share in my joy of other people’s sufferings.

Makes me think quite highly of my own, special self.

That Celadon tractor is still sitting on the shoulder of I-20... just drove by this morning. I guess Louisiana DOT will take custody sooner or later.

Apparently not looking good on that side either...

It’s a decently nice place, or it was, for the area. However it’s $20 for 0-8hrs of parking, $30 for a 10. And no amount of fuel purchase gets you on the lot free, or a shower for that matter. Plus they allow the local PD on the property to harass the local container guys (they probably deserve it, but alas). So no real surprise it’s never that busy, although the one time I stayed there a few years back the lot did get decently full overnight. Basically they know they’ve got a monopoly market and they take full advantage of it

They did try, about the same time they bought Boyd Bros.
