    Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with my climate control I believe. When I turn it to the coldest setting, the clod air will blow from it. However when I change it to a warmer setting, there is no warm air that comes from it. Just regular temperature air. I have already replaced the dash control (F21-1028-2381), an actuator for temp mode (T6892003), and also a sensor-temp freeze (K7755001). It still does not flip over to heat. What am I missing? Has anyone else had this issue?

    Thanks

Are you certain that you changed the temp door actuator? There are 5 total actuators in the dash and they are all the same part#. The panel and temperature doors can also strip or break where they attach to the actuators.

    pushbroom Thanks this.

Goodysnap is on the money. It may be wise to get it properly diagnosed at a dealer using ESA. Replacing a blend door is a labor intensive job in a T680 or a PB579. You can possibly try resetting the CECU, but if the doors dont calibrate you have an issue. Are you sure you have good coolant flow in/out of core?, just wondering. But I would just keep throwing parts at it

I have a problem with a blend door Defrost/Dash vents, it stays on vents. I tested the voltage at the actuator plug and eliminated the controls. removed the actuator and tested it with a 9v battery as shown on utube and it was bad. replaced the actuator only to find that the blend door shaft was stripped out. I have tried wrapping teflon tape around the shaft, but the female side is to stripped out. can this be glued and then calibrated?

There is a update to the HVAC software that is supposed to help with that issue of blend door being held to tightly. Might wanna get the update. It is TIB 01-073.

pushbroom and AGY Guy Thank this.

The doors are common to break. Replace temp and panel doors and actuators. Dash removal is required.
