I've read that you have to reset the ecm on them when a headlight burns out!
I'll stick to an old simple truck and check the lights by walking around to see if they're on. Who knows, maybe I'll catch a flat tire while doing that.
Stupid question

People here is a guy that has never heard of a light control module aka lcm. And will argue to the end of days that this sky is red.
-
No. Here is a guy that realizes light control modules are not only not equipped on every vehicle, but are also not tied directly to the ecm on every truck.
But hey, keeping thinking those brand new Columbia gliders that haven't had a significant update since 1998 are just a quick easy ecm program activation from being able to push a button to cycle all your lights.Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
I enjoyed the check light functionwhile i had it in company truck. But it was uneccsary and if its gonna cause problems down the line then i dont want it. Its easier to lay a brick on pedal or something similar. Or check them with mirrors in the dark.
clausland Thanks this. -
I never said that. Lol. It's a simple program to make that happen. I could even add a switch to my 05 that would do the same thing.
but please explain to me what's so complicated about a switch that cycles the lights if that breaks that breaks it wouldn't affect anything else Einstein.
But I agree with you the sky is red. -
