Buying Celedon trailers?

One of my clients has 6 Celedon trailers stacked up in his driveway, probably from the pre Christmas rush.

I'm curious who actually owns them now? Will anyone come all the way out to east PA to take them back for auction? Or will they be auctioned locally?

Just curious if my company wanted to make an offer on them, who would they contact?

    Tall Mike Thanks this.

You could probably drive one around for 6 months before any one knew they were gone .

Just paint them and keep them.
No one has ever asked me for my trailer registration when I’ve been pulled over or inspected.

You'd have to find the court in charge of the bankruptcy and petition the court. Once it's settled then there will be a management company brought in to settle accounts and sell the trailers. If the business the trailers are at is smart, they would leave them be and charge rental for the parking space. In every case I've heard about rental fees are granted once the management company comes in.

P.S. If you are looking to get a sweetheart deal on the trailers beware. The court can come back later and say that wasn't a fair price and you must pay x amount more to bring it up to current value.

    Agreed with the storage fees..
By the time the ink dries on all the paperwork in the courts, the property owner will have a nice Christmas bonus.

I got ask for my trailer registration twice. Once in upstate New York and the other in Maryland. Both were level 1 inspections.
