Good luck to you guys, I hope you really enjoy it with TMC. Remember, give it 6 months to one year, once you learn how to play the game (so to speak) to your advantage, it gets much easier.

    Stay off the grass! >.<

Eckz has it right for sure guys...LEARNING HOW TO PLAY THE GAMES once your hired is half the battle...as long as your not a bonehead it should not be a problem getting through the orientation, be professional and you will be treated as such..

But learning to play the game means a couple of games... the games the company plays as a company and the game of running your truck. Nobody can teach new guys how to do this because everybody looks at these games differently and there is no way to explain until you put your time in and make your own educated decisions on the GAME you will play and how you play them!

Good luck guys, I'm sure you'll do fine!

Don't expect to make a bunch starting out, they will run you short runs to make sure you're getting the swing of things. Give it maybe a month or two before you start taking on anything you aren't sure if you can handle.

Just keep your fleet manager updated on your progress, and make sure you let him know when you're ready to start running longer stuff.

I honestly was gonna go with TMC from the start... for me the kicker is the appreticeship program... for me being prior military, every month for the first 12 months i should be getting the full $1300 GI bill a month, for the first year. after that, im comming backand going local.

cant wait for the 24th to get here so i can finally start.
