System is not that bad. The only problem is trying to get them to keep me out. I also don't run on recaps that much. There is always a layover somewhere to where my clock resets.

I just finished CDL school and got my license and the big three endorsements in mid-December. I submitted an application to Superior and talked to the TM at the Houston / Pasadena terminal and he said once I got my license card in hand that showed all of my endorsements to give him a call back and he'd set up a time to come down and talk and possibly do a road test. So at this point I'm just waiting for my license to come in the mail.
I've been looking forward to getting on w/ Superior for months. I'd like to get something regional or dedicated like what you are doing but I know as a rookie you take what you're given and then prove yourself reliable. If could make $70k my first year I'd literally double what I'm making now at my crappy IT support job. Hopefully the merger won't change their hiring practices in the immediate future and they will still be b bringing on rookie drivers in the early part of next year.patsy Thanks this. -

So for Non-System it sounds like a lot of out and back work with the occasional layover, but opportunities to get by the house for at least a 10hr break or maybe a little longer? Then regular scheduled off time like 2 or 3 days after doing Regional work?
I'm also interested in better hometime or a better work life balance.patsy Thanks this. -

Btw what is the phone policy while driving? Anything positive/negative you been dealing with recently? -
Bluetooth and your fine.... busy as could be here run dedicated or local mostly..... Would like to do more system work but we gotta cover our stuff first in order to do that.
