So is it a good idea to add a airride trailer to the 40" gooseneck trailer or are 40" airride gooseneck trailers

If one has a steady opportunity to get air ride required freight, then it would be a good idea. Sometimes looking on the load board and see one needing air ride generally pays more. If I could justify the cost I would like to have it.

A couple of trailer manufacturing companies have as a option air ride. I was talking about adding it to my trailer. I do not know someplace near me that has a constant supply of freight needing air ride that would fit on my trailer. I'm not sure if this answers you follow up question.

FYI in case anyone didn't catch it, this thread is two years old... AllenV randomly bumped it on page 4.

Would it be a good idea to rent a 1 ton to help lower start up costs and maintenance?

Boeing.....Military.....Landscape...Import.....Cars....Military Household Goods....there is freight there problem is that Florida is more of a consumer based area than producer area. You have more stuff coming in than going out. Most of the successful guys in Florida have build long term relationships with their customers. Every location has certain situations unique to their area, the challenge is to find it and service it.
