I just did my Interview as well.

    Dan (SocyGrad),
    I truly enjoyed the experience.

You are bringing issues to the fore front that usually get swept under the rug. However; the truck driver has to deal with these realities daily.

I commend you on the work that you are doing.

    Cheers to you Dan!

Thank-you for your work. I know that there's a lot of imortant information these folks can give you. Currently, I am only technically a trucker, having got my licence in November 2008 and not worked as a driver since then, but I enjoy coming here.

As a Canadian, I know that the culture of trucking is more similar than not, and anything that affects our comrades to the south, good or bad, affects us up here as well.

It sounds like your study has a lot of potential, at least you've come to a great place for info.

    Socy Grad Thanks this.

It's still going. From what I gathered from the interview, I wouldn't be surprised if the results of SocyGrad's research ended up being used by industry analysts and lawmakers to improve the industry and the life of drivers. It's true that he is neutral, as a researcher, but the facts speak for themselves.

I think the more drivers that participate, the larger sampling there will be to back his results. It was interesting, to me, just to share my experiences with someone outside the industry.

I encourage everyone to participate and help Dan to complete this important research project.

What's that suggestion for? he's found plenty of drivers, and is very respectful, unlike you, it seems.

    Dan,
I would suggest that you talk to Redcoat wife. She has a very interesting thread, COVENANT -- From a wife's perspective, which tells a very eye-opening story. I believe that the information there, would be beneficial. (As well as possibly interviewing Redcoat)
