Make my mind up for me

Ive been a driver for nearly seven years now. The reason I say that is when I first started someone told me that van drivers and flatbed drivers make the same. Well I thought less work same pay and went van. One year ago I started flatbed and its been the best decision Ive ever made. First and formost I'd say 85% of the time maybe more I wait less than 30 minutes or less to unload or load. Also it may just be the company I work for but I make 25% of the load and my average is roughly .41cpm not includeing safety, fuel mileage and idle(which I never get Idle in the summer its to hot) but overall man its tough work Ive lost 15 pounds this summer form sweating and Im loving it. Its kinda of intemidateing at first to learn all the chaining coils and straping lumber but you will like it if you dont mind the work.

Skateboards are the only way to truck. Check with Maverick,good equipment,decent miles,home weekends,and they furnish all equipment needed.

At least Arrow put me on a bus and paid for the ticket when I turned the truck in. But yes, you are absolutely right about the status of their equipment. I did everything I could to take care of that truck, including detailing the interior when I got it (full of used dental floss, old socks, dried soda, fingernails and toenails, dirt, etc...), and it was MUCH cleaner when I turned it in then when I got it, but it was still no more than a turd on wheels.

I'll give them this though: They never did miss a paycheck and every one was spot on accurate. The biggest problem was that they had no freight.
