Guy, if you can hear air leaking the leak is bad enough to be an OOS issue.

Sorry to hurt your feelings sweety, but this is a pretty serious issue if you're losing that much air.

Well since you know so much can you explain to me why the trailer only loses air when the truck is turning or at an angle.

Air lines between the truck and trailer ok? I've had the hard plastic ones crack and leak, with the leak being very noticeable when turning.

Could be a bad valve in the dash as well. Either way, if it's leaking that bad, you should be able to find the leak fairly quick. Do not run it like that, DOT will put you OOS instantly for it. Get it fixed ASAP.

Check your flippin glad hands. THAT would be MY first step. Especially if it's happened with multiple trailers. Release trailer BRAKES, get out, step between truck and trailer, listen for air....
If you cant hear the air when straight, get the truck in a jacked position (both directions, if necessary) and do the same thing.

You asked your question in an open forum, not singling out any particular members. I'd be one to think you DID ask him. You did, in fact, ask EVERYone's opinion.

    Numb and spyder7723 Thank this.

Charge the air tanks, set tractor brake, release trailer brake, go out and listen for leak around air lines and glad hands.

Buy about 6 of those rubber glad hand seals at T/stop, you will p/u trailers that have bad ones that leak and its easy to push them in, and it can save alot of time not to have to wait for a road sev. truck to come out ?

    flood Thanks this.
