Yes, I am a lease driver, I’m very successful doing my lease. I’m 2 years into my lease and can say I’m very happy with the decision I made to switch from company to the LP program. Most drivers I talk to are happy as well, I talked to a driver that’s been here over 10 years and is on his third lease. Are there some that aren’t successful? Sure, for various reasons, but I have no regrets. You must be a company driver to 6 months, before they will let you transition into the lease program.

Is it lease purchase? Will you own the truck you're leasing after you've paid a certain amount? Or do you just do one lease after another? Thank you. -
You own it, he chooses to sell them and lease a newer truck with factory warranty. Me personally, I plan on driving mine awhile once it’s paid off, and go from there. Tomorrow I will turn 600K on my truck.

Got empty in Topeka, no empties so they had me bobtail to a customer in Lincoln to pick one up. Grabbed that and ran across town to pick up a preloaded trailer going to Newnan, Georgia for Friday morning.

Knucklehead Thanks this. -
Newnan? That's just south of me. Where will you deliver? Do you run much in Georgia?
-
Petsmart, we are down in Georgia on a regular basis.
Metacoyote Thanks this. -

Got empty in Newnan, and bounced 130 miles north to Ringgold, Georgia to pick up a preloaded trailer going to Valley, Nebraska for a drop tomorrow. I’m going to get a reset in and put my truck in the shop in Fremont Monday for a service. I have seal leaking on my input shaft that goes into one of rears (that’s what she said) if it’s severe enough I might have to put the truck in at Freightliner Monday.
Metacoyote, intrepidor and Vic Firth Thank this. -
Interesting description of the problem. If your truck goes into a Freightliner shop, do you have to just sit until they get it fixed? Sounds frustrating...and costly.

If its in the shop long enough then he can get a free loaner truck.Metacoyote and runningman0661 Thank this.
