Ta level 4 is awesome!

Just made my level 4 for next month. It's not easy, you got to run kind of hard and only get fuel at TA ever. Which I do anyways, because with the Landstar Comdata discount it's the cheapest fuel around pretty much everywhere.

Now every Point gets me a free meal or a free reserved parking. And if I cheat and only get 65 gallons at a time on purpose, I can get two points a day easy. Ta has got to be losing money on this deal, I'm ok with this. It's nice having guaranteed parking for free when running on I-70 at 2 in the morning in Ohio with 10 minutes left on the clock.

Now if only iron skillet / country pride food wasn't so bland and crappy. Somebody really should teach those people about a thing called spices.

 

I've been Platinum for years, where is my jacket ######. That's okay, I'll take my free parking and free old people mush instead.

Seriously though, they probably easily make up the profit from me on repair and maintenance. Despite what people say, I go to TA shops for pretty much everything that they are able to do. In my experience, ta shop is merely inept and sloppy at times, while private repair places have been violently shady and dishonest every single time.

Also, if anything they replaced breaks under warranty, I can get it fixed anywhere in the country for free

 

Eh, it's just a place to park. I usually don't even go inside, unless to go #2 or get my free food. I'm mostly excited for level 4 because I run east a lot and now I can use my shower credits for free reserved parking. A lifesaver when I expect to be rolling into Jersey or Connecticut at midnight.

As far as getting a fuel card, I think the cheap fuel I get is a Landstar specific deal where TA sells the fuel at cost. Makes it cheaper than even the no name Hindu places. Not sure if you could get in on that just by getting a comdata card on your own.
