Now I have a big problem oil on the exhaust side of the turbo. Bought a rebuilt turbo and I have like 4 drops of oil on the underside of the exhaust manifold coming from the exhaust.
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
I’ve been having that problem,It may be fuel, take it off, check to see where it’s coming from, either the turbo wheel, or manifold (one of the cylinders). My turbo wheel was dry, oil obviously coming from a cylinder. Check exhaust gasket, for seepage, oil or fuel soaked, Might have a problem with one cylinder. Excessive idling makes it worse. Mine blew a head gasket, in shop now. It’s coming apart on Monday, will know then if it was just a bad injector, or a cracked ring on # 4 cylinder, as the gasket was soaked with oil or oil/ fuel maybe. Don’t really know. Hopefully you got a bad turbo, easy fix.

The oil is dripping from under the exhaust manifold. Changed turbo same thing, heading to shop now.
