1-5 over the speed limit + 0 CSA points.
Dot can pull over a commercial vehicle at anytime and do not need a reason other than do do an inspection.

    Brettj3876 and PE_T Thank this.

Have him look at Platform Science.

Wifi puck under the dash connects to a tablet. Very easy to use.

I’m the admin for my Keep Truckin. Yes there is a lot of info not shown on the driver’s tablet. But what the admin page shows is the same as what is printed or emailed.

Does KeepTruckin provide GPS map coordinates and truck speed? The ELD driver log does not include those, at least mine don’t.

I sold a 95 and when I started doing this I bought a 2017. Food grade out, feed ingredients back. And I have zero regrets. I’ve had a true ELD for a year now, got my hand slapped once, haven’t had any problems since. I think people got used to “working” their AOBRD’s and the switch to full ELD has them off their game a little.

Outbound is load appointments 90% of the time and usually FCFS on delivery. Our return loads can be loaded midnight Monday until about 8am on Saturday, so not quite 24/7. Our return delivery is 24/7 because we all have keys to the facility. What helps us is that we’re not dispatched for the outbound until the afternoon before, so he has a pretty good idea of who is where and what load to give them based on the appointments.

That 30 minute break is unnecessary. Usually I am in the groove last 400 miles good for another 250 or so. Stopping ruins it.

But it is part of HOS and its a waste in my view.

    MACK E-6 Thanks this.
