When I was younger and raised animals.
I named my pigs sausage and bacon.
The goat was William, billy for short.
The chickens were just chicken. Too hard to keep track of them. One of the dogs was named steve. Just thought it was funny to name a dog steve.

 

He already has those. Along with the ridable green shovel (small John Deere tractor with front end loader).

 

Sounds like you have 2 harbingers of doom there.... Snow and Indiana.

I would advise getting out of Indiana, then the snow should not be a problem.
