I get 5 to 5.75ish per gallon. But understand I have a 14.7 liter 893ci engine. I drive local and pull heavy weight. Hope this helps.
3406B or N14??

I absolutely hate a15 speed so it's an easy choice for me. I'd go with the N14. The Cummins is already broke in and ready to roll.

I mainly haul machinery otr pulling 2019 all aluminum low pro step. Just sold my 2000 kw...so I’ve gotta pull the trigger soon. I’m not a mechanic by any means but carry tools always and do what I can. 20 years out here so I’m not a greenhorn rookie lol -
Change transmissions if need be. Best money I ever spent on my c mechanical truck was swapping in an rtlo18918b. If the b model truck is in that much better shape that would win me over. When u said rust and Michigan you changed my direction.

Yep it's a no brainer now. When I said there n14, that was assuming both trucks were in similar condition.MagicMan22 Thanks this. -
spyder7723 and Roberts450 Thank this.

and if the pete is a 96, and the motor came in it it is a 3406C. Same bottom end as a 3406e.

If the pete is a 96 shouldn't it have a 5EK In it
