New authority.

Get the Convoy and Uber apps on your phone. They're much easier to work with than brokers, and you get paid right away without any factoring fees. There are plenty of brokers who will work with you, but they pay less to trucks with new authority. You can use Convoy and Uber to run freight while you look for brokers to deal with.

 

Depends on the broker. We pay the same regardless of whether or not it's a new authority or an old authority. Just do a good job.

 

Didn't mean to paint all brokers with such a wide brush. Naturally there are great ones out there that deal with new authority.

My team does not care about new authority, though there are certainly snakes out there who do and will cut rates. You dont want to work with people like that anyways. Be honest, communicate often, and act like you give a crap about your loads and you will find quality brokers in no time who will want you taking their freight.
