    Can someone tell me if there are instances where they won’t give you a med card until you take a sleep study?? Which would be complete BS in my eyes

    All I have heard is a 3 month card to get it done. If you dont get it done you dont get a card.

    So the doc wants 90 days of results but will only give you a 3 month card? That’s insane

    You have the right to get a 2nd opinion. Just make sure you inform that 2nd examiner of the first exam. This does not mean the 2nd examiner will certify you however. The major problems come when an examiner says you are not qualified to operate a CMV. This is why you should STOP an exam as soon as the ME says they want a sleep study. Stop it and leave. This crap is getting out of hand too.

    They give you a 3 month card to get the sleep study and then keep giving you 3 months card till you can show compliance for 90 days, so I have been told.

    I could be wrong. If I am someone please correct me.
