    HP wise, the 1LW 435HP-550HP uses all same iron. Can go 550 with just software. Dealer will only take you as high as your weakest drivetrain component and will be a low-nox file. Other options out there and above 550 if you want that.

    I'm Looking at 2 different 5EK engines as a repower for my 1991 379.
    Can anyone run the serials and check for repair/ Warranty History or any other info?

    Any info Would be Greatly appreciated .
    First is 5EK40702
    and 5EK65160
