Thats a good question, LOL. The better half its hard on her. My little guy on the other hand. Thats a whole other story. He dont want me to go, but he kinda understands. It will be hard on me the first week then I will be good to go after that.

 

yea same here that first day or week is the hardest

 

Sometimes a Driver doesnt understand what he's got at home untill you have alot of time off. Then you have to go back on the road. I couldnt have it any better, my girlfreind supports me on what I need to do. If it wasnt for her I wouldnt be where im at today. The stronger the family the better the driver has it.

 

oh yea you got to have a strong relationship an trust or it will never work , we have been together since high school , about 9 years now married 4 with two kids so she knows how to deal with it i dont think either one if us ever get use to it

So what else do I need to know about the company and orientation before I fly out Wed?

 

um...just remember as most companies are orientation is not very organized ,it will drag by and oh yea they only do direct deposit or will ups it to your house with you paying for is so make sure you take a voided check or you will be in cali about every other week so you could just pick it up when your out there , just use your common sense dont call them with stupid questions , and there is no such thing as refusing a load , be prepared to sign your name a whole lot as soon as you get there they will give you three folders full of stuff to sign
