I'm looking at a LT with an Eaton Advantage FAOM 15810S EN3 transmission. I have zero experience with trucks that have auto transmissions. I'm looking for info from those that have driven one.
Is this transmission a true automatic or is it a manual with a computer on it?
How well does it function while bumping a dock?
Any known durability problems?
Thanks

According to google and eaton its an automated manual just like all the other “auto” trans trucks. The only true automatic transmissions in trucks are Allison transmissions. Other then what Ive read I dont know anything about these transmissions

If that's the new Eaton automatic. I hear they are good but don't know anything about them. I think that company Mesa trucking in Las Cruces NM has them. They are know for getting high MPG out of their trucks. I remember the original Eaton automatic transmission from like 2002 were bad back then.
