yeah injector cups i would assume
-
Most likely injector cup o-rings reason you see it in the radiator is fuel pressure is higher that water pump pressure whiles your engine is running. Engine shut off the fuel pressure bleeds off from the injector cup o-rings being bad then water pressure goes the other way into your fuel tanks. Also could be there was a failure and they didn't get all the fuel out of your radiator from previous cup change. Shine a flash light into your fuel tank looking for coolant in the bottom of the tank is good preventive practice. Its all labor and flush flush flush! Buy new injector cups and high strength lock tite and set of o-rings.

You're gonna need a nice little slide hammer for that job. Maybe you can sweet talk a mechanic into borrowing or renting his set for a weekend.

UPDATE: turns out it it was the 0-rings...also it turns out i had some broken rockers..so it made the mechanic trip pricier than i thought it would be...I just got back from the mechanics and tomorrow I'll see how it runs...Thanks for the awesome help guys!! this forum sure has educated people about this stuff!!

Didn't the engine run bad with some broken rockers? I broke a valve lash adjusting screw about a year ago and the way the engine sounded I was almost scared to pull the valve covers. Very relieved when I found that it was only a $6 screw.
I bet yours runs good now. -
you know it was shaky and running real rough, but when i bought the truck i was told that because its electronic and not manual it runs this way and its a little less powerful than a manual engine....man was i misinformed...thankfully nothing else had broken because of broken rockers in the engine.

This is not good info coming from a shop thats suppose to perform this work I hope you got the forged rockers installed.
