I have a Cummins NT88, CPL 0840 which is a fixed timing model. Jacobs calls for a Model 430 with a 016007 housing assy.
I have a set of Model 430's but they are 014878 housings for step timing.
If I change out the Auto-Lash Adjusting Screws with P/N 16012, or new P/N 20511, will they work? Or are there other differences?
I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.

Well, the set I have is actually Jacob's not TecBrake. But I thank you just the same.

Funny?
it won’t post the correct link to the Jacobs application guide? -
The housings are not backwards compatible.Coffey, spsauerland, pushbroom and 1 other person Thank this.

This information out out of the Jacob's 430 installation manual is what I'm referring to. Hoping that the housings are the same just with different slave piston auto lash adjusting screws.

By this do you mean that there are other physical differences between those for fixed and those for step timing?
