The door that was busted a few days ago.. and fixed.. is still closed, in place..
Looks like this other one has been forced many times.. but it's still holding.. with wood nailed inside...

The second pic I was stuck. That truck was a early automated manual and liked to shift into 6th sitting still lol.

144647. I will love that hybrid POS forever. Spent about 8 years together until she was put to local bulk work. 300,000 miles....only God knows how many packages..... it was a great ride.

......we had so much fun. I couldn't have asked for a better 20 years somewhere. All the funny stuff I've seen over the years was great.

 

Yes... definitely a fun place to work with "family" like co-workers... makes the job much more enjoyable... 20 yrs, huh? That's quite some time to be in one place only... Never spent more than 5 and half years in a company... but I would have stayed longer if it weren't for the circumstances beyond my control...
It makes a world of difference to work in a place you like... with people you like....

The people you work with are what makes it the best. 19 years ago I met this super cute Puerto Rican girl working the desk at one of my stops......we have two beautiful daughters now......it was one hell of an awesome ride! As much as I can say I don't like the turn the company had made on a corporate level and I decided to retire at 20 years.....it was awesome the whole time. That job gave me my life.... literally....my family.....I would have never met my wife without it.

 

That will teach me.
Buddy asked if I'd swap runs tomorrow, I had a short local and he had a road run to Knoxville, IA.
I said sure then I looked at the weather for tomorrow...oh well.
