I've been happy with stainless from American Eagle. Simple kit and easy to work with, I wanted picketts on my w-900 so it required some cutting. They've been on for 6 years and are still in good shape. I don't pamper them much-truck works daily hauling feed ingredients, fert, grain, etc. If I had to be picky it takes a little more effort to get their shine as 'deep' as chrome and keep it that way but well worth the trade-off in my application at least..
Ezrider_48501 Thanks this. -

Aren't you worried that if you put 8" wide stacks, you will lose to much field off vision in your mirrors?
In other words that they will stick out to much?Ezrider_48501 and MACK E-6 Thank this. -

I purchased grand rock a few years ago and haven’t had any issues. They are mounted below the outside of the fuel tanks so they catch all sorts of hell. The elbows get sandblasted but that’s about it. Almost 4 year in that spot and no peeling/pitting.

I Installed mine in ‘03. Got them at a local chrome shop on I -10 across from Kw and Pete dealers in San Antonio. They are 6” dia. 7’ tall from bottom clamp at elbow to tip of the turn out. Put’s them at 10’-8” tall from ground to tip. So 8’ tall woulda been ok to meet your height goal but we got a lot of old ranches with a lot of trees to deal with. They are one piece 7’ pipe that slip joints over the elbow and the bottom cab clamp holds it together. Easy Peesy. I built the rest of the system from scratch with high qaulity thickwall parts and stainless 5’’ flex pipe from FleetPride.
bigyellowjimmy, Dale thompson, kemosabi49 and 2 others Thank this.
