Same problem in Ohio. Even meritor armor guard shoes, lucky to get to 50% before they rust jacket and crack.

But they banned
Humbler Pie, and a guy named Yardstick.

 

Do you do that to every trailer? Every wheel on every trailer?

 

Haven't really had that problem.....but may have ta do with me not truckin during the snowy months. LOL

 

Um. Well I guess thanks for clearing that up for me...ugh.
I scrapped the cast iron pipe from the house I bought. Brought it to the closest scrap yard. The man who unloaded it was a happy enough scruffy critter until he opened his mouth. I have an image of what I think is meth mouth... Burned into my brain. It's the stuff of nightmares...

 

I'll be right over! lol

I actually enjoy doing it now that I've gotten all the stuff needed to do it.

The key is to sanding them first, then doing a couple passes with the polisher. It's a dirty job for sure but it's rewarding in the end.

 

And someday I might not either. But yes that's what it's from.

 

Was in Little Rock yrs ago. At the petro. Boy and his "girlfriend" was polishing wheels. Came over to my truck and asked if I wanted my wheels polished. Politely said no thanks. He walked away, minute later his "girlfriend" asked if I wanted my knob polished as she smiled with the one tooth she had ! ....still have nightmares of the way she looked !!

 

I don't do it to every trailer we got but I've done 2 triple axle hoppers so far and I just polish the outside rims.
