Pretrip is simple as long as u remember it from front to back and dont skip around. Be methodical about it. You got 9 days to practice it at least twice a day. They give u acronyms to help in training also. I got lucky when I done mine. I only missed one thing. Stupid mudflap to landing gear clearance. Lol

I don't get it, they don't require a contract or repayment for CDL training, so how do they avoid people just going there to get their CDL and bolting? I'm assuming they hire you as an employee right off the bat and put something negative on you DAC if you leave after training?
James j Thanks this. -
As far as the CDL training, they don’t require repayment but they do ask that you stay at least 6 months or return any sign on bonus that you get and the cost of the DOT physical. No catch, no strings. That’s it plain and simple. @SuperRookie left and went with another company. We still chat and I haven’t heard him mention any issues with his DAC so, no they aren’t that kind of company.SHOJim Thanks this. -
Anyone know if R.E West has a terminal in Minneapolis, MN or Minnesota in general. If not does anyone now of any carriers that will train in Minnesota. Leaving my job of 15yrs and want to get into OTR, thanks.

What’s the starting pay for there flatbed division with no cdl or experience?
-
Unless it has changed. I believe it’s .40 cpm after the OTR portion of the training and you get into your on truck. There is also no tarping on the flatbed side so thats a plus.
