i think what i can see from that picture, that you must be attaching the glad hands far down the metal, and using the rubber as well, so it's like you're breaking the hose yourself. keep your hands on the metal glad hands, and off the hoses when you hook and unhook from the trailers.

Must be something wrong with the rubber. I had like 360,000 mile on my other company truck with rubber lines and never a problem. The rubber air lines are better then the plastic one'sbuddyd157 and Crude Truckin' Thank this.

What is the length of your air lines and how are they supported on the back of truck

They’ve got two large springs and both hoses and electrical line are in a sleeve until they get to the plastic bracket thing. My springs are stiff (other trucks have one long one but they put two short ones and stretched them to make it work)
actually looking closer now and I see a burr that needs removed it may have caused my trouble along with the springs all along and I’ve been over thinking about it.
now just dealing with safety for the red light -
What you've been told to do several times. Point that pos truck to the terminal, clean it out (take lots of pics of truck) and find a real job. If you quit even Friday, you can be starting a new job Monday.
Your CDL is worth too much to let a crappy company ruin it.Last edited: Jan 13, 2020
TripleSix, Mototom and Crude Truckin' Thank this. -
That's what I've been saying. @Mototom it seems like you're constantly on eggshells with this company. It shouldn't be that way, bud.

I’m one of those people I have a hard time with change but I think y’all are right. It will have to wait till I close on my house. The bank would frown on me switching jobs right now. Should be finished by the end of the month.Crude Truckin' Thanks this.

I would hate to know that I let a simple rubber hose talk me into quitting a job I liked, now if I didn't like the job, well then any excuse would do.
Mototom Thanks this.
