Are you able to close up shop cease operations during dot audit?

 

Yea but will that stop the audit??

I got some of BS log book violations.. and afyer seeing what i made last year and then the fines for audit its not worth it.. so was thinking to close shop.. im getting audit cause the drivers i had keep getting bad inspections then i finally got one for not having printer that was oos.. my logbooks arent bad but there are violations there.. you can have super clean everythung and dot will find something.. they make their own rules it seems like..

I got rid of them all now cause literally so many bad insoections and it was for stupid crap like reflective tape or speeding that one is stupid on their part.. mine was that oos cause i didnt have printer.. so now they are poking for audit i feel my elds are ok but they will still manage to find things. So im thinking to close shop which i was thinking of doing before this audit cause i leterally can make this money working home.. big huge gross then break it down its ####.. so if i close up will they stop the audit? Or it continues?? If it continues then no sence to close it..

 

Yup.. bought nee ttuck had new eld keep truckin that didnt work when i plugged it in i showed it to officer.. called in to keep truckin they advised me to manually input on keepttucking app i did.. when u do it that way u need to have printee in your cab.. news to me now you know too.
