Yes, that's pretty long...almost as long as the bean lines sometimes. Basically they don't care if the trucker has to wait. Their attitude changes when a harvest hits.
During winter they really don't care if you have to wait. All of them are that way then.

I was kind of picky today because I just ran my hiney off for the last 9 days. I was fine taking a restart at home. But I don't like knowing I wouldn't have had anything though. By my standards I made a killing last week ($6700 gross in 8 days) We'll see how tomorrow goes!bullhaulerswife and wheathauler Thank this. -
Just took a deer to the fuel tank, woohoo!

Still hauling corn down south. Beans started coming in yesterday which slows things down. They either have to dedicate a pit to beans or clear the pit tween beans and corn. At a 2 pit outfit(actually 3 but of course just using 2) it slows things down. Mrs. bullhaulers wife if he's hauling out of Jonesboro he may be gettin some of that stained rice I hauled in bout 3 weeks ago. I think that stuff goes to dog food.
-
Hopefully the tank isn't leaking
They do that pit changing around here during harvest. At some elevators it can take 10 to 15 minutes to change grains. -
Nope, he loaded in Stuttgart, AR this time. Its a part of the Joneboro company, but this is the first time he's loaded out of there.
You always hear stories about AR police. Well here's one for you. Hubby and our oldest parked the truck, and was going to dolly the trailer to bob tail back to a little bbq place they saw. Cop pulls up, starts yacking at them, and tells them to leave the trailer hooked up and crawl in. He gave them a ride to the bbq place and back to the truck.

Nah, I got lucky. She ran full speed into the side of the tank while I was doing 60 down the interstate. She left a deer head sized dent and my brackets have fur stuck in them.
-
Nice isn't it? I'm sure the smell is fun too. Hubby had one jump out of the ditch at his driver door, once. Took the stack off the side of the truck. Had to stop and gather up the bloody pieces to reassemble them later at the shop.
-
Ew, lol. She did leave me a gift at the tail end. Have to find a truck wash after I make a couple more drops.
