I need a new chrome bumper, preferably with some fog lights in it. What’s the best place to shop for this stuff?

I might add a grill guard too because these bumpers are paper thin.

how much will this cost me?

Got my leads from Ebay. But I wanted to actually see, touch, and feel what I was buying. So I waited till I was in Florida to get mine. Put it on myself at truckstop parking lot.

I dont no how to post pictures taken from my phone, so cant show you. But try this Miami star dot com. Mine was $800
My buddy got his from www.5pgtruckparts.us he was in Houston (they are in palmer tx) so he went there and picked up so didnt have to pay shipping. ($700)
Rainey's wanted $975 so I would reccomend shopping around before going there.

Are you looking for a deer guard or a "car crusher"?

If I may digress abit for the love of god don’t run every night with those “fog lights” on. I’m tired of all the Volvo drivers running with “fog lights” on all the time killing my night vision. In quotations because true fog lights are supposed to be amber as white and blue light doesn’t cut thru well in dense fog.

Our 89 volvo had bosch Ambers near the center of our bumper and they were incadascent. If we were alone in the mountains with no oncoming traffic, it is the difference between being able to continue to stay on the interstate at all or falling off the mountain. We had a rule with them to turn them off when oncoming traffic is found.

I ran ambers only in my east coast cars, they are good for the foggy situations common to that area.

However, LED lighting is a form of pollution and if I wanted Amber lights of sufficient capacity they will be the old incadescants. Not LED. However I may not have a choice because I am getting ready to replace the entire front headlight group on my old tahoe and the new set will have provision for amber fog lights. The other problem is the LED lighting uses very little power but poisons with light pollution at night for anyone looking at them without treated night lenses for the eyes. Once you have that then the oncoming lighting at night is less of a problem.

    Derailed and Ffx95 Thank this.
