I can't idle up my mxs up past 750rpm. Is that an ecm setting?
-
Where is a good an cheap rear end shop around central Ohio? I'm wanting to put different gears in my rear end! Should I change the gears in my rear end or change the tranny?
-
What are your current gears and which transmission?? Do you wanna go lower (faster) or higher (slower). Can you change tire size instead??
-
Hi guys can I get info on 2WS16685 please. I’m in Australia if that makes any difference?
-
THE TRANSMISSION IS A 10 SPD. FULLER RTX-14710C (I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS TRANSMISSION, IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ME SOME SPECS./INFO., THAT'D BE GREAT)!
REAR END GEAR RATIO IS, 3.91
TIRE SIZE IS, 295/75/R22.5
Now, it seems to me, that I need to go lower (faster)! It tops out at 72mph! That's my cruzin speed normally! I want an 85 mph truck, but also dont want a sled going up hills! -
Thats an over drive trans, .73:1 top gear so switching to a 13/18 speed wont change overall speed. If you can go to tall 24.5 tires you can gain quite a bit of speed back but you loose power for the hills. Only way to have both speed and power to turn hills flat is ether pull light loads or have huge power under the hood.
