    I've got a question, and a suggestion.
1st, the question. Did he weld the backside?
2nd, the suggestion. That missed spot of fusion (in the circle) will be where the next crack starts. I'm trying to remember if you guys have a TIG welder? I personally would blend that part of the weld into the base metal with a TIG machine. You may need to add just a dab or two of filler. If not, grind it back around 5/8" or so, clamp a piece of stainless steel (or a piece of flattened copper tubing) to the underneath side and weld to the corner onto the backer bar. The goal is to build up the corner and fill any gaps.
    Hope this helps.

That end he still needs to weld the backside. On the back he is welding it then we cut a inch square piece that he welding in over the joint. Yes he's using a tig.

    I always appreciate your input!!

I'll try to remember to snap some pictures of the inside tomorrow.

One year old granddaughter fell on the ice and broke her leg. Story we're getting is she sits in front of the TV and yells come talk to me.

It's the small bone in he lower leg so it's not a big deal... after fighting with the doctors they opted for no cast
