My first trip across the county I didn’t know what to expect and wasn’t fully prepared.
I was in a completely unmarked truck, not a single word on it so I was a sitting duck because nobody knew what I was.
I obviously have changed that now and run “Not for hire non commercial use only” on my steps.
It’s a fine line...you want to be cooperative bit don’t want to be infringed upon. I get it

If you are driving an RV over 26000 lbs, or in some states over 40' long, there are states that require a non commercial class B. And a Non Commercial class A if towing a trailer over 10,000 lbs. Don't know how one state deals with anothers requirements. Just something I remember from when I was in California.

It is not plated as an RV and license laws that apply to you are from the state that issued the license, thus making it illegal to carry more than one license.
