Is there not enough room to get a line wrench on them? The only experience i have wih a dd15 was a couple years ago when i was considering buying a new truck. I opened the hood took one look, shut the hood and said i think I'll keep my 12.7

It never got that bad. When I posted this I had probably 800k on the engine, maybe less. I ran it up to 985k and traded it.
I asked around and it wasn't going to be cheap to fix.
    Hope that helps

Also, it wasn't the injectors, it was the gasket going around the head.
I'm no mechanic, so I might be off a bit in my terms, but basically, oil leaking out of the big rectangular thingy on the very top of the motor.

Cam frame housing gasket. Yes, that's at least two grand in labor if you get it done at the dealer. Add another two grand if the cam frame housing has to be replaced because it's made of aluminum and the bolts holding down the cams and rocker shafts can only be torqued once or twice before the threads bugger.
