How can you chain when not able to move truck? Probably a dumb question. I've never chained without pulling up to hook themCoffey Thanks this.

Throw chains over the tire like normal and ease forward/backward (whichever's easiest). Chains should get pulled into the rolling path of the tire and then underneath. Then just connect them.
I've even heard of guys just laying the chains on the ground in front of the tires and driving over them to get moving again.magoo68, InTooDeep, SAR and 1 other person Thank this. -
Live and learn. I've been stuck on ice, too.Coffey Thanks this.
