I do know that was the true meaning behind the song. I was just looking (from an outside perspective) at how that era appears to me vs today. People seemed a lot more genuine, tough, hardworking, more friendly and upstanding. Today, most people seem to be just whiny, self-entitled pricks that cry wolf every time they come across something that they don't agree with. Even 20 years back I don't recall there being so many sissies as there are today.
