Here you go, it's advertised on FB. Get a Russian speaking guy, have him call them and post here what you find out

    HOS 247 is their name.
LOL. I did not know that I can still read Russian. Hey...they are saying that they will help you with logs and will fix mistakes. I like that way it sounds, and it sounds pretty innocent. Well, I wrote the name down just in case...you know...you know... When the push comes to shove and desperation takes over ...you know. At some point, I may want to be on a level playing field with my eastern euro friends. Maybe I have come to that point already.

что я могу сказать? они очень умные люди.

Ours changes from On Duty to Driving around 4 mph. But, any time we are doing movement within our yard, the railroads, container depot or at a customer, we go On-Duty/Yard Move, unlimited time/miles movement. Per the law, we are not allowed on public roads when in this mode. A few times, mistakes have happened, drivers have driven a couple hundred miles before they realize. We use Big Road, one thing we have found though, any time we use Yard Move, we now have to give a reason why, most of us use reference names for the location, or NONE for the reason. I've had a Level I where they saw the Yard Move reasons, didn't bat an eye at what we posted.

I filed two different complaints years back about carrier practices, in both cases my ID was protected, although in one case they suspected they knew who filed the complaint, but couldn't prove it.

I feel your pain, when I filed a complaint against the railroad years back for unsafe equipment, State Patrol said their hands were tied, they really really wanted to inspect, but people waaaaaay above their pay grade squashed the idea before it got traction. We all knew why, the railroad basically told the state to pound salt.

I actually got cited for not knowing how to transfer the eRODS this past August. The problem was not that the device wasn’t capable of it. I was just doing it wrong and was getting error messages. Shortly after the officer left, I figured it out. The violation I was given was 395.24d. I regret arguing with the officer. I should have kept my calm, and he may have given me a pass.

All truck drivers are required by law to have the instructions on how to send eRODS to the officer. I did have mine, but I just thought I knew how to send them. Even if you cannot send it, your carrier can also send them by going to the website or possibly by calling the ELD provider.

According to two different officers I spoke with, the eRODS isn’t exactly the same as what is displayed on the ELD device. From what I understood, when the ELD logs are sent through eRODS, a computer analyzes the logs and so this helps officers quickly find potential violations such as excessive use of PC, etc.
