    Absolutely not true. I met some of the best heavy haulers on here that will tell you a truck with 40k rears will implode. Have to have the heavier rears for any thing over 80k. Even though meritor 40's are good for 126k gross at 100% use.

    Idk might have bumped my head.

    130 or 140 pages on my desk. But who is counting.

    @hurricane

    On the pete suspension. Low or Air leaf I have seen on long wheelbase eat bushings. It was in wreckers mostly. But they were abused. Just kept them in stock. However just like the airliner I found of it's not holding bushing it normally was the hole you put them in. Not the bushing or application. On a Airliner if the bushing dont go I'm hard, you need to replace the spring.

    Like anything, never let the bolts get loose either. Or oil contamination.

    To this day my favorite truck I ever drove. Not the biggest. But probably the fastest. At 320wb it was hard on stuff.

    @stwik

    475 miles in one day for my old pile of junk. I'm training.

    Still 300 short of you, more than likely.
    Time for a nap.

    Kurt said he could only get neoprene to last a couple years and I run the stock ones. It's not a big deal and they are not pricey and I've got pretty quick at changing them. Haven't had much trouble since I took the axle off. Had a dump valve on the axle that also killed the brakes. Ran alot in the winter with just along for the ride.

    Anything I've ever put a wrench to has been 44k, 46k or 69k rears. 40k rears are an automatic no for most of the crowd I grew up around. The lighter housings and suspension don't like the repeated bushroad abuse.
