The elusive JJ is checking in. Hope everyone is doing well. It was good to run into Brickman in Ontario, i just wish i would have had more time to chat. It is good to have a face to go with the name. JJRanch.

I passed a Central 387 at around 10:45pm last night just east of Colfax, CA, looked just like JJ's truck...but it was dark =)

I drive an end dump just around the local couple of counties and I get about 2500 a week . Problem is I only get to work about 5 months out of the year if even that. No work between sept. and may or june. Makes for a really bad yearly wage. Looks good by the week in the summer . That is why i was thinking of otr. maybe I will just move to a warmer state where I can drive an end dump all year round. I do like the work. go home every night and at least around here there is no one bothering me about drive time or all that. they just do not bother with it . Never been asked. Only med card and scale ticket and the occasional brake check. I drive 18 hours sometimes and usually 12 to 15 when times are good.

Wow, got a call back already this afternoon asking if I'd be available to get to Salt Lake by monday. Recruiter is doing a background check and running my dmv records. Sounds like I'll know tomorrow morning. That was very quick.

Hey Jess or JJ, I looked at the companies site, and it said they had .08 cpm as per diem. Is that forced or can you opt out of it? How about layover and detention? Also, do yall have APUs on yer trucks?
