I've been thinking of working for Florilli. I live in Southern Cal, Ventura. Where does Florilli want it's CA drivers to park while at home? Are Florilli more forgiving for past mistakes? At SNI, I had two preventables. Both were in truck stops. But I can't get anyone to hire m e a the moment. I'm not sure what my DAC or USIS says, but I do know my MVR is good. Good as in Zero points. With today's economy, sitting doesn't bother me. Sometimes good things come to those who wait. Besides, idle time is a good time to make contacts, so when I take the plunge and become a independent O/O, I'll have some possible business thrown my way. That's the plan anyhow. So Florilli will keep food on the table for my lady and her kid?
Floirri is this the right place 4 you, not for me

You had two preventables in truck stops, hmmmmmm lets see, I wouldn't give you a broken down old cabover from Mexico to drive, let alone insure you to drive it. Driver if you can't back into a parking spot without taking the mirrors off another truck then you might need to find another career.

True I have to admit at times this company makes it hard to make a living.First the owner and ceo does not do cocaine. They have has their problems with the d.o.t., but not trafficing. The do not haul cheap broker freight. So, yes you do have to sit sometimes and wait for load.Unfortunately, alot of companies are doing this right now.As for getting a.c. fixed. That problem has been resolved.Alot of the service work is done at speedco, and any major work is done at dealer locations.Naturally, most companies will not fix a.c. on road because it is hard to get a distant companie doing repairs to stand by their warranty or get the truck back to them to get them to fix it right. Not everyone can get along with this company. If you do not communicate your needs naturally they can not meet them.I have had zero issues getting my truck fixed and they have treated me with respect. It takes alot of patients but if you do your job and do it safely, legally, and professionally. The good driver will have no problems here.

by the way I still work for florilli and have worked for other bad companies.Waller was alot worse than this.Atleast Florilli knows where I live and gets me home ontime.True the miles could be better, but economy is slow and they do not haul broker freight (or try not to).Be safe and remember not every company is for everyone.Thats what makes us humans different.

Good old Murry and his band of idiot,so called dispatchers, and management.I used to drive for Florilli back in 2008 and lets just say the name said it all ,LLC,for those who don't no what LLC is (Limited Liability Company) which means we aren't liable for ####.I went to orientation ,if thats what you want to call it .Anyway I was there 4days,I got to the hotel,it was nice but they don't spring for dinner,so I had to eat on my dine,Then the next morning which is Monday,Curt the idiot who runs orientation,is about as useful as a screen door an a battleship.Has you fillout your hire packet.but can't answer any question about the company, cause Murry has instructed him not to.So you are completely blind going into this company. Then they take you across the parking lot to eat lunch.Which is a small buffet place.($50.00 budget) for the entire orientation class which is about 6-7 people, Then you head to take drug test and physical clear across town.Thats all in day one. Then day two,you watch a video that is on the website. Then you head to the garage( the terminal) that is out in the middle of corn country(toothlessville) you meet your dispatcher and get a little duffle bag full of goodies, like a 5th wheel puller,a hat,log books ect.. which you have to give back if you quit and or fired .The dispatchers are again idiots!!! these people couldn't find their ### with both hands and a G.P.S unit. Day 3 you head off to Davenport to pick up your truck.Sorry I mean clean out your truck cause the last poor ####### that had it before you didn't.But will charge you $100.00 clean out fee, which you sign in your contract. And believe me these trucks are nasty, the truck I had was discusting.it had bottles of urine and chewing tobacco spit everywhere in it.It took me 3hours of my own time to clean it.I asked for another truck and Curt said " sorry that this is your truck." So I cleaned it out the best I could. After I cleaned out the truck,We headed back to the hotel for those who haven't got back drug test.Day 4 that morning Curt tells everyone to check out, cause only paid for 4days, so again you head back to trucks until you are dispatched. So there you sit for a day or more depending on your dispatcher. While I was sitting in Davenport Freightliner,(where they keep the trucks) I was notified that I had a death in the family and had to get back to California A.S.A.P so I tell Curt I need to leave to go home that their had been a death in the family(my mom).He had the nerve to tell me "sorry about your luck". And since I wasn't on a load I wasn't entiled to my $250.00 orientation pay.So I was stuck in Iowa, cause i couldn't afford to get home.Luckly another driver was getting some work done and heard what happened and he was headed to California,so he offered me a ride home.Management was fine with it because their load can get to California quicker, but had me sign a release of liability form, so what ever happenes while i'm in the truck,I.E accident I can't sue for medical damage.(but I was still an employee of Floriili) Once I got going the truck broke down and had to spend a week in Rawlings,Wy. at my expence after that little ordeal,I finaly got home and took care of family business.I called Florilli to see where my pay was for the miles I drove as a team,And Brad Jones (presendent of operations / Murry's son-in-law) told me that "You are not getting paid cause you are not an employee".But I got their freight to Hayward,CA from Davenport,IA.So to some it all up,This is the life as a driver at Florilli Transportation LLC.
Beware!!!!! Apply at own risk!!!! -
i work for them it ok. the truck are slow as he// i get alot of mile and the do not care what i do
