If your oven is self cleaning ya can stick em in there or clean up like any old piece of metal if gettin rust using a wire brush. But any way ya go about it ya gonna need to re season them.

Stick a wire wheel on a 4 1/2” grinder and clean them until they’re shiny, at which point you’ll have to re-season them. Do that by greasing them up good with vegetable shortening and sticking them in the oven upside down at about 350 for 3 hours. Then they should be ready to use.cke, PoleCrusher, jamespmack and 6 others Thank this.

Send them to me, I'll take care of them. No need to insure the package, I'm certain it wouldn't get lost anywhere.
