At some point I gotta head to SW Mississippi and get this old girl, no hurry but it’s on the list. I’ve drove this truck all over the place, Louisiana to Florida to WV......

Honestly, yes I did. Thinking of putting the boom on my 61 International, then slide the dump bed forward and make a nice little dump with 32,000 gvw I think is what it is. Air brakes is a plus to me. Excellent 11:00-20 tires all around....

So was tossing a lil diesel in the tanks today & on top of the ditch side tank I thought I seen some blood.. Didnt know a truck could bleed. Looked around for signs of roadkill to no avail. Fueled, rolled on & thinking... Oh yeah, I'm running red coolant now!! & been using the heater a lil bit..

Stopped in El Paso for the night, pulled the breaker panel & voila..




Do you happen to know what this is called..? It's weeping.
When you move the hvac lever cold to hot it pulls the little arm up or down..
Mixing valve maybe? Time for a new one..

The day wasn't a total bust though. Behind the breaker panel I found 35 cents, a nut, & a couple clips that those torx screws go through to hold the dash together!!!

 

Very decent for a Denny's.
The waitress could use an attitude adjustment..
